Google TV a “Go” So Far

Google’s plan to release an Apple TV competitor are well on their way to becoming actuality.
What is Google TV supposed to do? It’s supposed to provide a bridge between TV and the internet, allowing web browsing and TV viewing all at once from the same unit. What could it mean for consumers? An easy, streamlined way to access the web from your television set.
“Great, it does TV, we get it, what else can it do?” Google plans for it’s product to use the Chrome web browser, which will have thousands of specific apps written for it. Accorind to this article, Google TV is expected to have voice control options, youtube access, and will feature Intel’s Atom CE4100 system-on-a-chip processor.
Overall the Google TV project looks like it’s gearing up to be another working product offered by Google.
