How to optimize a new connection in Windows 95/98
Dial-Up Networking governs your connection to DBS Technologies. Therefore, to ensure that your settings are configured for the fastest, most reliable connection,  we must checking your Dial-Up Networking configuration.
  1. Double click My Computer and Dial-Up Networking.
  2. Right click (with the right mouse button) on your DBSNet connection icon and select Properties.
  3. Click on the Server Type tab.
  4. On this page, only two items should be checked: Enable software compression and TCP/IP. Uncheck anything else that is marked.
  5. Push the TCP/IP Settings button.
  6. Click on OK at the bottom of the screen on each screen until you are returned to Dial-Up Networking.
