Passwords are essential to PC security, whether or not you share your equipment. Adding an account password can help protect your data and documents from the casual on looker or nosy family member. Today, we’re going to add a password to your Windows 7 User Account.
Step 1: Open the Control Panel, and then go to the Users and Family Safety Screen. From here you can do several other things, including set up parental controls and add or remove a user account. For now, let’s just focus on setting a password.
